Los Angeles based singer, pianist, songwriter, and entertainer, Dana Greene is a respected musician and performer in the music world.  Her story began as a young girl and her love affair with a baby grand piano, becoming an award winning classical pianist into her teens.  Finding her voice in high school, her journey continued as a leading lady of the musical theater, cabaret performer, and songwriter, shaping her as an artist with rare vocal and musical diversity in a unique blending of pop-infused jazz, folk, and blues. The intimacy of her singing and piano playing bring a color to her arrangements that have a spontaneous feel. Like the sun shaking free from a blanket of clouds, there is a burst of light that pours through her voice and a sacredness to her interpretations.   A true entertainer, Dana has performed as a solo artist and with her eclectic jazz band on both coasts as well as internationally, captivating audiences with her dynamic style and soulful interpretations, and laying her heart on every stage she graces.  “There is nothing I love more than a live audience to share the moment with.  It is, without a doubt, the highlight of it all.” Her new single, an original song The Hope of Spring, is out now.  Other recordings include Songs My Father Sang, produced by  Jim Avakian,  Dana Greene Live, as well as a featured duet, Wish, with the legendary Bobby Womack.
